Meet Mandi

  • Hey, I’m Mandi. I’ve survived massive bilateral pulmonary emboli (three times!), antiphospholipid antibodies, Crohn’s disease, primary hyperparathyroidism, and enough surgeries, tests, and medications to write a tragicomedy. This is not an exhaustive list.

I know what it’s like to feel as though your body is running its own reality show—full of drama, plot twists, and surprise hospital visits—while you’re just trying to make it through the day. I’ve lived through constant pain, unpredictable flare-ups, lingering discomfort, exhaustion, anxiety, depression, disappointment, and grief—and the PTSD that comes from facing repeated near-death threats from my own body. Every day brings the uncertainty and unpredictability of life with autoimmune disease.

I created this course for anyone who, like me, has done everything “right”—taken medications, attended appointments, managed diets, and still feels like their body is in revolt. Each practice in this course—from somatic movement to grounding breath, body scans, and creative exercises—was chosen because it addresses the very real challenges of living with chronic autoimmune disease: pain, fatigue, anxiety, flare-ups, and the unpredictability of it all. This isn’t about curing your condition—there is no magic fix—but about giving you tools, education, and strategies to calm the chaos, improve your quality of life, reclaim a sense of control, and even find moments of joy and humor along the way.
